HELLO!
My name is Thomas and I grew up in Melbourne, Australia before moving to the sunny and beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland.

As a young traveler I enjoyed staying up late,,, but I'm thirty now and focus a lot more on health, wellness, and happiness. I am especially keen on language exchange and anyone who can help me with speaking Japanese.

I really enjoy eating nice food, whether it's a cafe breakfast or crazy, exotic food. One of my favourite things to do while travelling is to try local food and eat until my stomach is full!

During the week I work as a Refrigeration Mechanic. That means I fix and install air conditioners and fridge units. For the past two years I worked full time in a hospital which included working on the morgue refrigeration unit!! it was very unnerving.

I want to open up myself to meet amazing, new people whilst having experiences that money can't necessarily buy.

I'm interested in spirituality and meditation and am keen to meet other kind souls. Whilst travelling through Japan in 2023 I want to learn about shintoism especially.
It's always a pleasure to talk to someone from another country or just another state as everyones background is so varied and amazing.

I enjoy music. Whether it's heavy or pop, i just love having music playing in the background for whatever I'm doing! I also enjoy listening to funny podcasts.

At the moment I'm reading the "Dune" series for the first time, I'm enjoying it but find it hard to read. I read a wide range from fantasy to Sci-Fi and then murder-mystery style stuff as well. If I had to pick a favourite series of all time then it would have to be "The Dark Tower" series by Stephen King.

The only movies I DONT like are Horror. I physically can't watch them because i jump and scream... They have grown on me in recent years though and I'm happy to watch something with company haha.
