Currently an Englishman lost in America: slowly adapting to imperial measurements, smaller pints, and learning what chips, biscuits and jelly mean on this side of the pond! I'm on a year-long research placement in San Francisco as part of my biology studies at The University of Manchester, and hoping to explore the bay area, California and maybe some of rest of the USA while I have the chance. At my happiest on a bike, and I'm hoping to find others to join me for some two-wheeled adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing restores my faith in humanity. Having spent long enough on the tourist trail to grow fed up with the hostel circuit, it is a beautiful reminder that kind and genuine people still exist and welcome others into their homes!
