ABOUT ME

Low-key lover of books, music, and foods of wide ranging varieties and qualities. Avant-garde alongside VHS excess. Pop culture and poetry. I spend my days reading various books, visiting used book stores, making collages and noises at my studio, working at a café in town. Spend my nights watching movies, going to shows and poetry readings, crappy bars for tasty drinks with talkative friends.

Massachusetts born and raised, soon relocating to the Midwest.

PHILOSOPHY

This could go too deep too quickly hehe but I'm here, I'm alive and that is a lot of fun. I had a lil comic on my wall for a lil while that said "I'm glad you stopped by, I was awash in idle thought." The little things like how you spend ten minutes before you're supposed to be somewhere or the way you phrase a sentence are just as important as the big things in life. Most things in the world are designed (using the word loosely here) to expose certain features and obscure others, knowing this how do we proceed?

The world we currently live in has been shaped by a number of racist, patriarchal structures and overcoming this requires the efforts of a totality rather than an individual, so I try not to be a dickhead and observe my reactions to events to engage with the world and be a sympathetic person. Knowing this how do we proceed?

Currently unable to host surfers but would be happy to show people around the valley!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time I stayed in a basement of a collective house in Portland, OR next to the then-filled buckets of hu-manure that the house accumulated in lieu of flushing. Although the people, goats, and dance parties of the house were charming and the food was delicious, dumpstered, and abundant--I know that not all surfers are open to this kind of experience.
