ABOUT ME

basically I'm friendly, open-minded, polite... and only exceptional the reverse, mostly when I am very hungry (one of my weak points, I have to admit). I'm easy with adapting myelf to new conditions, what I found out travelling and/or temporary living in the USA, Ireland, Rwanda, Thailand, Indonesia, and Russia... I can keep silent without feeling uncomfortable but in general I am quite talkative. I like to learn about new perpectives and firmly believe in everyone's freedom of opinion, no matter if I share the thought or not. relatet to that, I like black humor from time to time

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

with my flatmates back in Germany we had visitors from time to time via the account of my friend and it was without exception a lovely experience. Surfing myself I only did twice in Russia (in Kazan and Novosibirsk) - why all my contacts, references etc were deletet, is a mystery to me

Interests

Because I was busy with finishing my studies at university for the last year, there was not much space left for hobbies. But in general, I like doing sports and outdoor activities, including training of martial arts, hiking and camping, bicycle tours with friends or just take a walk. at home i like drinking coffee and read a book (classics preferred as well as historical and philosophical nonfiction) and of course, meeting my friends at someones place, in a bar or somewhere at the river in my hometown is important to me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- visting a hardcore konzert in Minneapolis (USA) during an exchange programm as a schoolboy

- having some beers and cigrattes with my best friend while having an outlook over Kigali (Rwanda)

- hiking through the jungle for 3 three days in northern Thailand

- training Kung Fu with unbelievable skilled and friendly guys in Indonesia

- having barbecue in a Russian snow scenery outside town because it was "only" minus 10 degrees that day

- two days hunting trip through the bush in New Zealand
