ABOUT ME

I'm a travel and adrenaline junkie! There, I've said it. I have been to almost every corner of the world in search of adventure and meaning.

I am currently an US Army officer stationed in Oklahoma, but I grew up in Illinois. Go Fighting Illini! I'm not a hero nor am I a baby killer. I'm one of the most progressive guys around which usually gets me some funny looks at work, but I love my job and always welcome lively discussions about politics and philosophy!

I'll gladly trade you a six pack of beer or a bottle of wine and a story for a couch to crash on or vice versa!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to host anyone, but I kinda live in the middle of nowhere. If you find yourself stuck in Oklahoma somehow, please look me up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pretty new to formal couch surfing, but I've crashed on more couches than I can count. I have backpacked/hitchhiked/bummed around the world from Europe to South America to Asia usually staying in hostels or knocking on doors relying on the kindness of strangers.

Pretty much love every form of music. I'd be surprised if you find a song I don't like. I really like Salsa, Bachata, and Deep House though. I like to dance : )

I spent 6 months backpacking through South America and Central Asia last year by myself. I went wherever the wind took me, from the Amazon rainforest to the snowy Himalayas.

I am trilingual and am more than willing to teach you a bit of Mandarin or Spanish.
I love sharing recepies and learning to cook new dishes!
I'm also pretty good at navigating and general outdoors skills and am willing to teach you if you want to learn.
