Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started hosting 2009 I think and have hosted around 50 people since :) I have never surfed bud I know I will one day :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since around 2010.
5. july I have hosted once though I wasn´t signed as member in couchsurfing. The one who stayed here told me that there were no couch in this area so I desited ti sign in :)
18. july I hosted tvo lovely ladies from Belgium. It was really nice and fun :)
27. july I hosted two excellent ladies from Slovenia and one very kind lady from USA :) We had a very nice time :)
28. july I hosted one American girl and one couple from Norway and France. We had a really nice evening.
19. August I hosted 2 ladies. One from Finland and one from UK. Really nice ladies and we had a good time.
26. August I hosted a girl from Germany. Really nice girl. We had nice chat and I mad her bbq for dinner :)
1. september I hosted a couple from France but they were living in Angola. Really nice people. I showed them around and they saw many things. They were lucky to see some Raindeers and even one small Raindeer who tought it was a horse :)
2.-3.september I hosted brother and sister from Germany. Really nice and fun people. I of course showed them around the area and the fjords. We had really nice time. When I was then driving to Reykjavik I surprisingly met them in Jokulsarlon. I then met them again in Reykjavik and drove them to the airport :)
7.-9.september I hosted one German girl. We met in Reykjavik and she joined me when I was driving to Egilsstadir (650km). We enjoyed the driving and I showed her our beautyful Iceland. The next day I showed her around my home area and we managed to see some reindeers and some whales swimming in a fjord...you don´t always have to pay a fortune to see a whale :)
9th September I hosted a couple from Latvia. They arrived late and left early but we managed to have a really nice chat :)
9th-11th September I hosted one couple from Slovenia and one girl froma Texas. They had a real problem with their rental car and had to have a new one from Reykjavik. Mean while we just had real fun and I showed them around the area. We went to Seyðisfjordur where we met another couchsurfer and he took us around the fjord. Really nice 2 days with excellent people :)
13-15 september I hosted a man and woman from France. Really nice people and we saw a lot...like Reindeers, whales, Stone museum and much more. They cooked for me their last night and it was delicious :)
17-18 September I hosted two people from Spain. We went to the forest and saw some reindeers. Then we made some bbq and had some lovely chat :)
18-20 September I hosted a french girl. She was really nice and an artist too :)
20-22 september I hosted again two people from France but they came back after some traveling in the north. I took them to see Borgarfjordur and it was really nice :)
22-23 september I hosted two people from USA. I took them to the forest and we had dinner in Atlavik...the tempeture was only 3°C:) Really nice people:)
29-30 septemer I had a full house of CS :) One man from New Sealand, one man from UK and a lady from USA. I showed them around the area and took them to the fjords. We had an excellent time:)
1-3 oktober I hosted a girl from Australia. I showed her the forest and the fjords. Very nice girl and I am expecting her back later :)
3-4 october I hosted a man from New Zealand. He came back here after walking in Borgarfjordur. We tried to see some northern lights but they where ot clear enough :)
