Hi, my name is Thu (it is pronounced kind of like number 2). I am currently going to California State University, Los Angeles. I am sometimes a shy and quiet person, but I'm down to make friends with nice people and have fun.

I'm trying to do some new things to make my life more interesting, and one of them is travelling. I have always wanted to explore new places, make new friends, learn new languages, and acquire new knowledge. Sadly, I haven't had much chance to do what I wish (mostly because of financial issues).

Now that I join couchsurfing, hopefully I can get a step closer to my dream <3

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am having some travel plans for the upcoming school breaks. A friend of mine recommended couchsurfing to me, and I realize that traveling will be much more affordable with the help of those generous and kind friends from couchsurfing.

I have travelled to some places in Vietnam (my home country) and California. I also visited Ontario, Canada this spring (2018). I want to lengthen my travel lists as much as possible. Hopefully I can meet some nice hosts and make new friends soon.

Currently I am sharing a house in El Monte, California (it’s in Los Angeles County for those who may not know yet). It is not my own house, so inviting an overnight guest is quite restricted. (I may accept one female guest at a time only, but I am not always sure about that because I have to ask for my landlord’s permission.) However, if you happen to visit Los Angeles area, I am happy to be your tour guide; we can meet up and have fun :D
