To try to extend goodwill and assistance to those who are adventurous and enjoy traveling, soaking the local culture and tasting the food, enjoy snooping around and taking time to enjoy the undiscovered sights , and discussions on various subjects.

ABOUT ME

I had enjoyed travelling and met many people who were kind to me. Now, trying to give something back. I am a Malaysian age 85, agile and alert still, enjoys meeting people, likes the countryside,gardening,cinema,music,art,writing, good food, travel and reading. Will respect whatever your religion is and bid you welcome. Likes to take time 'to smell the roses'. Believes in budget travelling,mutual respect, kindness and keeping an open- mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the couchsurfing website is very interesting and is properly organised. It gives many of us the great chance to meet many wonderful people from around the world and maybe to assist them in some ways to travel around while they are in our area.

Eager. But very new in CS. Has to learn more how to participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had so far hosted individually three foreign students ( from Iran, Mauritius, China ). I was happy to have hosted them.

Interests

My interests are fairly wide . Passionate in cooking especially , also music, old songs, the countryside, the sea, nature, travelling ,visiting market places, food, reading, TV , cinema, film stars, reality shows, the theatre, colours, art, gardening, buses , trains ,writing, the computer, meeting happy and spontaneous people, quiet space, exercise (Qigong) and taking care of myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing is travelling around Southern India on my own on a budget in buses and trains. In my 70's.........it's unbelievable. Travelling to many different countries on my own and experiencing the many different lifestyles of the locals.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hopes to learn many more new things.It's a wonderful world. So many great and friendly people to meet and be friends with. Each of us has a different story to tell. Would like to hear your story. Definitely never as a judge but to share the experiences we had learnt.
Also to share whatever whatever I have managed to collect and some small privileges I am lucky to have. ....... a peaceful stopover. my house . conversation of mutual interest, and some of our local food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A small, simple home which is fairly comfortable. I have a spare room and a bathroom. A place where you can have peace and a good rest, before you go on to the next stop. I hope........'a home away from home'
