I'm from Danang, a beautiful beach city in the central of Vietnam. I have spent the last seven years studying and working in Saigon aka Ho Chi Minh City. Currently I'm an international student studying a Master degree in communication in Milan, Italy.

I love travelling (I know, who doesn't??), though bad luck has happened to me more often than necessary that my friends said I could just write a book and make good sell of it. But what is life if there is no bit of drama and unforgettable experiences?

I'm quite an introvert but I do enjoy having conversations with people. Otherwise I'm sure that I can be a good food companion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn to become a true traveller.

When I was in high school, I first knew about the idea of meeting people from other cultures and helping each other while travelling via the site Hospitality Club. I once hosted Judith, a German girl who is very nice and open-minded. The form of our friendship and Judith' sharing on how amazing travelling is to meet the locals and learn their exotic cultures really built up my desire of having the same experiences at least once in my life.

So yeah here I am on Couchsurfing.

Currently I'm not able to host people but I'm more than happy to meet up anyone in Milan or sharing any tips on exploring my home country Vietnam.

Interests

I find myself an old-fashioned person that I actually enjoy reading books, doing DIY stuffs, cooking or gardening than going out for parties and social events.

I have an ukulele and I'm still learning to play it ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very poor taste of music that I often feel embarrassed when someone asks about my music playlist - I listen to any kind of genre as long as it ..sounds good and suits my mood. I love concerts and live shows, I can easily become a crazy fan if there is Maroon 5 or Ed Sheeran on stage.

I have a Dory memory that doesn't allow me to remember movie stories and details so well. Still I love watching movies of course, some of my favorites are Before sunrise, Before sunset, Amélie, The perk of being a wallflower, Love actually.

Harry Potter is no doubt my all-time favorite book series. I grew up with this book. Pride and Prejudice is the one that I could blame my expectations of true love and men for. Lately I enjoyed reading The Hunger Games.
