I get to read and write about music, movies and other pop culture as a living so growing up hasn't been that bad after all!

I sing in a pop rock band and when I can, I travel the world with this awesome dude called Sampo.

I used to be a radio DJ. I don't do that anymore, but I still love cheese.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I used to couchsurf a lot, surfing and hosting as much as I could. Then I moved to a big city, got a small apartment and a grown-up paying job and I decided to try out fancy hotels with clean sheets. It was nice (everyone likes clean sheets) but some of the best parts of traveling was missing: meeting the locals, making new friends.

So now I'm giving cs another go! I travel with my boo Sampo. We are independent travelers and won't expect you to entertain us 24/7, but we don't mind partying with the host, having a beer, hanging out, making dinner or just getting some local travel tips.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I've played in a bunch of bands: funk, bossa nova, hiphop-soul-50's finnish shlanger, post rock, pop rock... I also love good electronic music and for example Wolfmother. Music is a big part of my life and it's hard to make it fit in this box.

Movies: I'm your average movie buff but I specialise in horror. Demons and ghosts, yes please.

Books: Muumi's (Tove Janson), Watership down, Lord of the Rings (why not...)
