I'm happy. I consider myself a person filled with love and joy. I'm easy going, open, sometimes awkward, emotional at times, quick learning, easily distracted, skilled, strict, opinionated, but happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch surfing from a friend, and thought it was a genius way to meet people from around the world and make friends. As well as an excellent way to save on travelling costs, while getting the true cultural experience of whichever city I'll be travelling to.

Interests

I'm interested in many, many things. The top of my list being: ultimate frisbee, music and poetry, gardening and farming, recycling, travelling(of course), food(I love food), reading and writing, learning about cultures and languages, camping and the outdoors. To name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite type of music is indie folk, contemporary instrumental music, jazz, soul and classical music. But I also like some hip hop and rnb. Oh, and anything by Jason Mraz.

I enjoy reading non fiction books. Examples include politics, philosophy, economics, culture and language etc.

I'm a big musical movie fan, but also enjoy light hearted comedy, and some psychological thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think representing South Africa twice and an international sporting event was pretty awesome. First at the World Ultimate Club Championships in Italy, then at the World U23 Ultimate Championships in London.

I'll teach who I can, learn what I can and share when I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with hosts my experiences of having lived in South Africa, particularly Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town, and give advice where necessary. I'm a very open person and look to learn from my hosts as well, but will share my cultural and life experiences with anyone willing to listen.
