ABOUT ME

i am wandering yet very clearly headed in a direction that includes a master's in social work, a tiny house, two dogs, and a garlic farm. right now, my husband and i are using this time of transition (currently living in bonaire, waiting for his u.s. visa) to travel, wwoof, skill-up, support each other in our respective endeavors, and generally have a relaxed time taking walks around new places and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have couchsurfed once in elgin, scotland. i have hosted a surfer on bonaire, and my parents (bless them) have hosted surfers through my account while i was otherwise occupied.

my experience has been excellent - this community is amazing

Interests

growing our own greens, reading!, red wine, slowly learning dutch, watching our dogs play, word association games, social justice, espresso, puttering around the garden, the musty smell after rain, pannekoeken met kas, hand-written letters

Music, Movies, and Books

one of my favourite books of all time is "the stone carvers" by jane urquhart. i adore the "outlander" series by diana gabaldon. musically i can groove to classical in the morning while swiftly moving onto tuneyards, mountain men, passenger, mc yogi, and bachan kaur come afternoon.
