About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore, learn, grow and do it while eating amazing food.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Korean-Canadian living and studying in Helsinki. I'm a bit crazy, fairly outgoing and always curious about the world around us and learning new things.
A handful of things I currently love include: design(ing), building stuff, cycling in the sun, exploring forests/nature, thinking about picnics, cooking, good coffee&wine, traveling, live music, and French knives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always try to CS when I travel because it is the most intimate way to learn about a new city and culture. I love meeting people from different places, hearing their stories, make connections and I hope to offer the same in return.
I have had many friends and friend of friends stay with me. I also participated in some meet ups and events when I've lived abroad. I hope to continue to meet new people in Helsinki and abroad.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been lucky to meet so many international friends during my exchange in Germany and have surfed on their couches. I hope to offer the same enriching experience to other travellers!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very bad at music genres. I generally can listen to anything from electronic, techno, rock, jazz, swing, nu disco, punk and such. I guess the kind of music I can not tolerate is super overplayed pop, folky-country stuff and electro acoustic/noise.
I like books with dark humour and adventure I guess... Chuck Palahniuk is pretty cool and of course my childhood hero, Harry Potter.
I simply can not watch horror films, but the rest should be okay. One thing is, I have REALLY unfiltered reactions. I'm a screamer and jumper if I get surprised.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a meteor shower.
Sight seeing Italy on a scooter.
Sun setting over the sea on a road trip to Dubrovnik.
Swimming in canals in Amsterdam.
