Hi!

I'm Thyrza and I'm 20 years old, which I hopefully means I many years left to explore the rest of the world :) I travelled a lot when I was still fencing on a professional level, and made various trips thereafter. I even spent half a year studying in the United Kingdom and two months doing a summer school and a consultancy project in China! Back in the Netherlands I spent most of my time doing the job I love, hanging out with friends, babysitting, doing a lot of sports and organising new trips ;) Next: Edinburgh!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Two summers ago I did my first solo backpack trip trough eastern Europe, which was amazing. I loved meeting like-minded (and not so like-minded) people from all over the world. I'm really looking forward to similar experiences with couchsurfing!

At the moment I am reading 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck', which I would definitely recommend to anybody. Also the songs of 'Vaiana' are stuck in my head since I watched the movie. Usually I don't watch Disney though. I prefer Netflix :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sending my babysitting kid to school (girl, 4 years old) in her Spiderman outfit, with fake muscles and everything.
She tried to wave from behind the classroom window when I left, but her muscles were in the way.
