After growing up in a suburban bubble with super strict Asian parents, I started traveling the world and opeing up my mind to fascinating new cultures and ideals. I'm on a mission to live life to my full potential, and meet wonderful and amazing people.

ABOUT ME

I'm very energetic, courteous, and friendly. Laughter cures all! I genuinely enjoy traveling and experiencing new adventures. I love people watching, grocery shopping, and 80's synth pop! While I have absolutely no problem eating at a table for one, I am equally as happy to share my table with friends - new and old alike. I'm all about energy and having a positive vibe. I usually know within 5 minutes if I like you or not, but if I find that I don't like you, I'm even that much more inclined to get to know you better! I can find positivity in every person I meet, and those kind of interactions are part of what I live for. I love FOOD. There's a big girl inside me somewhere, as I enjoy both street foods, and michelen rated restaurants. I love cooking, and sharing meals with friends. A shared table brings people closer. I love to Dance. I mean, really, just dance the night away. I have a 14month old son, and am the eldest of 4 children. Livin life. Love it.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, play hard, eat good. Those are the basic principles that I live by. I believe that life isn't what happens to you - it's how you deal with it. When someone asks if I had fun, I often reply: "It's only fun if you make it fun."

I'm just getting started, but after my friend told me about her amazing experience, I'm so ready to make memories of my own through couch surfing. Ready to start my journey!

兴趣

I LOVE traveling and trying new foods. I'm always interested in meeting new and exciting people, and to learn about many different cultures. I'm fascinated by different cultures and people from different walks of life. I think the more one travels, the more diversified one becomes, and the more forgiving one becomes of others differences. I'd like to believe that when something bad happens, it's all just a misunderstanding. I'm not naive, just hopeful.

Love romantic comedies, my favorite being The Wedding Planner. I don't sit still long enough to read any book in its entirety, but I enjoy excerpts and magazine articles. I listen to all types of music from Rock to R&B to Piano concertos. However, I seem to always come back to 80's Synth pop like Depeche Mode, Erasure, New Order, and OMD.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I recently took a boat cruise around the San Francisco Bay, which I never thought to do all the years of living here, because it's such a touristy thing to do! But I was SO amazed at the beauty of the landscape and bridges of our bay area. It left me speechless!

While visiting Nha Trang, Viet Nam, for the first time years ago, we rented a private boat and sailed far off the coast. I've only seen the murky waters at Nha Trang Beach prior, so it was a delightful surprise to see crisp, clear, blue waters! It was so clear that you could see the fish in the ocean water. One of the hosts that came with us was an old fisherman that lived on the beach, who's hair had been bleached by the sun. He jumped into the water and came back up with lobster! That night, we sailed onto a private island off the coast and turned some rafts upside down, and slept on the beach. It was a life changing moment for a girl from the suburbs.
