About Me

Hi, my name is Tiago, and I am an easy going person that loves to travel and meet new friends. In my spare time I enjoy spending my free time reading books and watching movies to relax and learn new things. I also love to skate and find it to be a fun and active way to enjoy the outdoors. When I'm not skating, I like to visit beaches, as they offer a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from everyday life.

One interesting thing about me is that I am drawn to cold countries (since I am brazilian hehe and live and Portugal), and I find the unique cultural experiences and natural wonders they offer to be fascinating. I enjoy learning about new places and cultures, and find that visiting new countries allows me to expand my horizons and explore new perspectives.

Overall, I value my interests and hobbies as a way to stay engaged, learn new things, and bring joy and balance to my life."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been fascinated by different cultures and ways of life, and I believe that the best way to truly experience and understand a new place is through the eyes of a local. That's why I would love to visit someone in a new country to learn from them and gain a more authentic understanding of the culture.

I imagine that visiting a new country with a local friend would provide a unique and immersive experience, from trying traditional foods to exploring hidden gems that might not be as well-known to tourists. I would love to see how the locals live and learn about their customs, traditions, and daily routines.

In addition, I think that visiting someone in a new country would be a great way to forge a deeper connection with them. Seeing their home and meeting their friends and family would give me a better understanding of who they are, and I believe that experiencing a new culture together would create a shared bond and lasting memories.

Overall, I am excited about the prospect of visiting someone in a new country because it offers a unique and rewarding way to learn, connect, and explore.
