Who am I?

Well, in three words: outgoing, energetic and strong-willed. My 'natural habitat' is among a group of people socializing and having fun. Meeting new people, new places and new cultures is my idea of having fun!

However, there is another side of me, a more rational, 'nerdy,' side, driven by the need of understanding what surrounds me: a thirst for knowledge that can only be satisfied by a continuous learning experience about the scientific principles of the world around us. And that's how I end up in a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.

These both sides combined are what I usually consider as: Myself!

Traveling the world and meeting new people is not only a life goal but also a necessity. I truly believe that in order to respect and appreciate other cultures we need to be in contact with them, and the only way to do it is by travelling. Having friends from all around the world gave me a perspective of a world community, an utopia that I hope than one day becomes a reality. We are the first generation that has the tools to make it possible.

Couchsurfing is the living proof of it, bringging together complete strangers and bonding them through a multicultural experience. Shortening the physical distance between societies.

My interests are really broad, I consider myself a generalist. Learning is the expansion of ourselves, so new things are allways interesting for me. However, if I had to reduce my interests to a top four, I would have to say:
