I'm a nerdy dude that studies nerdy stuff (CompSci) and (very generically) likes adventuring with friends.
I do a bunch of stuff outside of uni, being it programming scripts for myself, playing random games with friends, discussing philosophy, religion, politics, AI, evolution and etc.
I also thoroughly enjoy getting to meet people to a more than superficial level. I've been told I'm easy to talk and open up to but I consider myself maybe a little awkward :p

As much as I like meeting different people while abroad, doing so isn't always possible, CS is an extremely interesting way to meet people that actually *live* there, usually travelers with extra stories and tales to tell.

Philosophy is always an interesting topic to talk about as there is no right answer. Or is there?

My music taste is incoherent but broad, I like both dubstep and piano solos, I'll listen to Drum and Bass or Rock, I'll dance to electro-swing or headbang to Riddim/Trance, I'll listen to anything really, but I like some more than others. Current favorite artists will have to be Virtual Riot, Tristam, Linkin Park and Pendulum.

I'm not too much of a film guy although I am interested in the technology behind the scenes, my favorite movie ever was Avatar mostly because of the enormous shift in CGI it brought to the movie industry.

Books are easy, I've read all of Dan Brown's but the last one in 3 weeks and am currently reading the Witcher series.

Since I'm a geek I'll add a videogames section: Witcher III is my favourite game of all time second would probably be Minecraft although I've played League more than any of these :P

I like learning. Anything. I just simply enjoy gathering knowledge(for my evil master plan of course). You know cooking? Great! Teach me a plate! Do you happen to know about art history? Explain to me the effects of inquisition in art! I'm generally interested in whatever you have to give.
