Heeey there, my name is Tiago, and I'm living my dream of travelling around the world.
And what's travelling if not meeting local people and other travellers to exchange experiences and learn every day a little bit more about another place totally different from where we call home?
That's the reason to be here, learn and exchange experiences.
Knowledge not shared is useless.
My first steps had been done in Africa and the Middle East, doing a trip from Cape Town to Amman by land.
The second part of the trip was taken place in Asia. First South-east Asia, then South and Central Asia.
Now I'm in Europe. I landed in Italy and I'm hitch-hiking way to Turkey through the Balkans.
Hopefully, our paths crosses, and we meet each other somewhere and have a good time together.

Some people ask me why I never hosted.
I found out about CS a bit before my trip, I made my account but never received any requests for hosting, as my place is not very touristy. But I'm looking forward for hosting people when I'm settled again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way of travelling!
We have a chance of meeting locals, exchanging knowledge, culture, experiences, having some laugh together and truly know places and people you'd never know staying in a hotel.
Once I'm settled again I would love to show guests my country and make them meet my family and friends!

Interests

Going for a hike, discovering new places and sometimes just have a deep breath looking to a nice landscape.
I love wild camping, I have all my camping gear with me and I'm always camping around.
A drink surrounded by friends and good people never disappoints.
