Overview
About Me
- CURRENT MISSION:
BEing (myself, of course) - with all it takes in interacting with the whole world (this includes humans and the rest of nature - everything).
- ABOUT ME:
rEvolUtiOn.
- PHILOSOPHY:
Everything is Relative. And Absolute. Simultaneously - at the very same time oo
Think on what you say, say what you think, and do what you say.
Preferring to "do to others what you'd want others to do to you" quite more than "don't do to others what you don't want others do to you" - proactive rather than defensive, openness and generosity as a path to achieve.
Nessness for fulfillment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
- HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
BEing open.
- COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
Before opening this account I had little CS experience, just stayed a couple of times with hosts before becoming a member (as I was travelling with one) - some were nice experiences, other not so much (I guess it varies - as everything...).
That made me think how it'd be, when will be my turn to host somebody - I hope I will be able to fulfill it properly, by then.
Interests
Better to say on what I am not interested in: evil and mediocrity (along with their variations).
Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment, I think just to repeat what I said at "Interests" field...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Love - BEing in Love and BEing Loved (all the rest come as a consequence).
Teach, Learn, Share
These three aspects mean what I consider Couchsurfing experiences should be about (so this field remains open - to be completed with what will happen from now on...)
(More recently, some reflections occurred to me about Couchsurfing, and I want to share them with other members:
- When someone writes you a personal reference, can do it having the chance to use more than 1200 characters to state whatever they want to, but to reply to it you just have 260 (it's 5 times less, when it should be the same - this so unbalanced circumstance is what CS sadly considers as being fair and safe (but it is not - in fact is quite the opposite), so all members should be aware of it when an equivalent issue will happen to them).
- As a host, you can't predict if guests will be mad or evil, but afterwards they can write on your profile whatever they want (and if it isn't true, you won't be able to correct it, as CS team doesn't care about such, they simply say that you can write back whatever you want to - allowing a potential of 'game of lies').
- Or as a guest, when you stay at a host's place, afterwards they can state publicly that you've done whatever they want to say (and again, CS team will just say that you can write back another reference stating whichever you want to).
These examples are a real menace for all decent CS members - so how can you properly defend your honor from calumnies, and prevent your reputation being safe from unfair attacks?
Couchsurfing MUST find a way to block these terrible things - otherwise isn't worthy AT ALL to keep using this platform.)
