Hello fellow couchsurfers! Let me first start by saying you are awesome for joining this community! Now a little bit about me... I am an American living in California studying Business Management. I really enjoy immersing myself in different cultures which is why I personally would prefer to couchsurf rather than stay in a hostel or hotel. I love to do really anything because I am always up for last minute adventures! In my free time I am usually reading, watching a movie, discovering new music, spending time with my friends and family, or researching beautiful places to add to my bucket list. Those are the basics but here are some random fun facts about me! :

*I LOVE pizza!! Seriously the most amazing food creation ever...
*I love staying home and having personal time but once I leave the house I am a social butterfly!
*I have zero athletic ability so although I love to exercise and get fresh air, I seriously suck at every sport... hahaha oh well we can't all be good at everything
*I have an older sister and a younger brother
*I am happiest with a cup of tea and a beautiful view
* I am a huge music fan.. So anyone with good taste in music that wants to suggest songs for me to check out would be AWESOME! I seriously live for music.
*I also have a very strange movie obsession and constantly quote movies unintentionally because they relate to everything.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I really believe the best way to view a city is through the eyes of a local and what better way to do that than by sleeping on their couch?! hahah I live with my parents when I am in California so I can not open my house to couchsurfing but as soon as I move out I will definitely be hosting non stop so if you ever come to cali I would love to have you stay with me! Traveling is extremely important because it allows people to see the way people outside of their hometown live. Not only that, but it also creates more culturally diverse people and i believe it also helps you find yourself. That is why i love the idea of couchsurfing so much because soooo many people say they "can't travel" because it is "too expensive" and with websites like couchsurfing that is no longer an excuse! Money should not get in the way of people seeing the world and making friends from different cultures!

The MOST amazing thing I have done is decide to leave my family to au pair in a country I have never been to. That may seem small to some but it was the most amazing experience ever.

I would love to share with hosts what an average day is for me and what I am passionate about. I definitely prefer learning about other people rather than talking about myself but I would love to get to know the life stories of my hosts or what it is they really enjoy doing. I am up for anything so if you would like to go out on the town I would love to come! If you would like go to museums I would love to come! If you want to sightsee, count me in! I enjoy many things!
