Hi, my name is Luan Tiantian and I am a 25 year old girl from China, now doing a Master's degree on TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers from Other Languages) in the UK. I love getting to know children and teaching Chinese. I can paint watercolours and I know some traditional Chinese dances.

I grew up in a coastal town and have a cheerful and sincere personality. I love the sea🌊, the beach and the sun☀️. Love music, history and traditional culture. I love to cook and am good at Chinese food, like Tomato and egg noodles🍜. And I am keen to try many different local foods from other countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sofas are really a new way of travelling for me, especially in my country where they are not common. I was very keen to experience it. It takes the monotony out of travelling, you know, like a mission to get to a certain spot to take photos and check in.
I wanted the trip to be about interacting with residents from different countries and getting to know the real deep local culture, not just what's in the tourist brochures or documentaries. It's not just about what's in a brochure or a documentary. It's about being authentic and profound.
