Overview
About Me
Welcome! This is Tian and I’m a college student in the US as well as a world traveler.
Born and raised in the south western China, I identify myself as part of the minor ethnicity and am culturally closer to South East Asian countries.
I think myself as a very open minded and flexible person.
I’m also a very good listener according to most of my friends :) and I very much value this characteristic of me.
OYSTER LOVER!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Would like to get as much the cultural exchange and immersion experience as I can, while I’m still energetic enough to go to wherever! I would not get such experience if I stay in the Hotels or Hostels.
Most importantly, CS would help me along the journey of figuring out who I am and what I truly want in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Note: The following list is changing from time to time, I’m also very surprised how dynamic I am :)
I’m always ready for more recommendations!
🎼MUSIC
Classical music
R&B
Jazz (Chet Baker! Bill Evans!)
Japanese (Original Love, Hariomo Hosono, YMO)
Rock (Queens, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground)
🎬MOVIES
En kärlekshistoria (1970)
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Nobody Knows (2004)
The Lover (1992)
I like pretty much any kind of music and am always ready for something new! I like old stuff because time is the best filter for the genuinely meaningful pieces.
I watch movies and read books a lot but haven’t found a favorite movie or book yet, hopefully one day they will appear :)
