COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had quite some guests from abroad via CS or by accident and have surfed even more. Not to mention the many events I used to organise.

Interests

I like to walk among old houses surrounded by bumpy cobbled streets waiting to bump into hidden gems.
I am passionate about pure nature and cycling, especially on country roads, but I'm always up for a canoe trip or a trekking.
If in town I’m happy to find a good play in a theathe or a film or just invite friends to my place - if at home. I love to chill out with entertaining people and talking about geopolitics, architecture, geography or discuss on any societal questions. I'm pretty flexible :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got used to enjoy the 15-degree "warm" water of the Gulf of Finland - it was required as i lived there.

Killed the batteries of my camera in actic Russia in minus 40 Celsius degrees.

Being arrested in Transnistria (Приднестрóвская Молдáвская Респýблика), the last communist country in Europe. Two times in four days. But for what reason...!

And set off for my grand voyage in 2015, that doesn't really seem to end :))
