Because it's a very democratic way of getting around. No fuss, just people helping each other out. And of course it's always nice to meet new people.

I'll listen to almost anything. Maybe metal is an exception, but that's probably because I've never been properly introduced to it. A few heroes are: Nic Cave, Radiohead, Monteverdi, Noisia, Underworld, Sufjan Stevens and Bach.
Movie wise I love Lynch and Haneke. The film that got to me the most must be Sorrentino's 'La grande bellezza'.
I do have a favorite book! It's 'Rayuela' by Julio Cortázar. Other writers I keep reading are Salinger, Perec and Calvino.
