About Me

Presently: Getting ready to run for office. Our government is too embarassing to stand on the sideline.

Summer 2017: traveling around China for 6 weeks with my mom, seeing pandas and entering the apartment she grew up courtesy of a gracious resident. Her upstairs neighbor from 60 years ago was still living there!! What an experience to watch them reconnect.

Built an intimate music and arts festival in Denmark with my good friend that I met in India in 2012. Hadn't seen him in 5 years, and we had a GREAT time.

I spent the summer of 2014 biking from Baltimore to Seattle with the 4K for Cancer program. This was a +4,400 mile bike ride that I did with 23 other people, and it was worth every penny.

This was a charity ride, and I raised nearly $6,000 for the Ulman Cancer Fund, a non-profit that supports young adults with cancer, and another $3,000 to buy film equipment. I felt that what our team was doing was very special and inspiring, so I wanted to make a documentary to share our message to the rest of the country.

After that experience, I decided to dedicate my life to storytelling in some form, be it writing, photography, or film.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first experience was surfing in Mumbai with a Bollywood screen writer, it was awesome! I love the idea of connecting strangers and providing hospitality and this service offers many great experiences. My 2nd time was with a drug dealer, and it actually went quite well.

Twice in Mumbai
Once in Taipei

Interests

I love music and dance, cooking healthy and gigantic chocolate milkshakes, adrenaline-filled sports and a quiet evening with a novel.

My only wish is that I had more time to do everything.
