Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to learn more about different people, languages, cultures, farming practices, food systems, musical instruments and sustainable ways of living.
ABOUT ME
I love learning new things and meeting new people. Cooking and sharing meals with friends is one of my favorite things to do and I especially love brunch. I am a vegetarian and I enjoy growing my own food. In the future, I hope to have a big garden but for now I am traveling and studying and learning more about the world around me.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to continue learning and growing a little more each day. I want to eat and live consciously and tread lightly on this earth.

Music, Movies, and Books
This is a difficult section because there are so many good books and talented artists.
When it comes to movies, I have a soft spot for Pride and Prejudice and Anne of Green Gables but I also enjoy watching documentaries of all different sorts.
I do not have a favorite book but I enjoy reading historical fiction and a wide variety of different novels. I have a reading list that is so long I wonder if I will ever get through all of it. My favorite poetry book is Leaves in Windy Weather.
I enjoy listening to bluegrass, alternative and traditional instrumental music. I love folk music and indie lately I have been into Cat Power, the National, Regina Spektor and Beirut just to name a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most challenging things I have done was climbing Mt. Kenya. It was also one of the most amazing things I have seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not an expert at many things but if you want to learn how to play guitar, knit or cook healthy vegetarian meals I would love to share.
