ABOUT ME

We are a married couple who love to travel new places, and who are very interested in making connections with people from various countries. Tiffany works full-time as a child and family therapist, while Jimi goes to school to pursue his passion in art. We are not home a whole lot, but would be interested in opening our home to short stays. We live in Sylva, NC on an amazing private property up in the mountains and on a large creek. We have several beds available, including a king, two twins, and a couple of couches. We live with our dog-baby, June who is very loving, but very excitable, and will likely want to lick you to death. Couchsurfers should probably be dog lovers...so not to be annoyed by her semi-constant presence. As far as activities go, we thoroughly enjoy hiking, camping, cooking (mostly Jimi), dancing (mostly Tiffany, but sometimes Jimi), working in our garden, and going To Asheville for good times and good beer. They say Sylva is the middle of the best, and there is certainly an abundance of options of how to entertain yourself, especially if you're into the outdoors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are looking to establish connections by opening our home to other couchsurfers, and hope that in return on our travels we may find couches as well.
Additionally, we eventually would like to open up our own hostel, so we would like to start by opening our very modest home to the budget traveler.
