About Me
At face value I seem to be what may be known as a typical Puerto Rican woman from New York City and I somewhat am with ponytails and very large hoops as earrings. Ha. I come from a very large, loud family and yet I can be the most quiet person in a room at times. I am really passionate about helping others in any way that I could and is part of the reason I am traveling to Boston often to help my church's new location kick off. Most of the photos that are taken of me are of me laughing because I honestly love life and while my life hasn't necessarily been rainbows and sunshine all the time, I can enjoy the learning opportunities that come along my way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing because I have just recently moved back from Sydney, Australia and am transitioning a move to Boston from NYC for my next adventure. In the process of helping launch a new location of the church that I attend in Boston and travel to help mostly with that but also am applying for jobs to hopefully make the move up very soon.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am all-round top 40 music junkie. My friends often times thoroughly enjoy my knowledge of all the top hits and other times annoyed with my singing along to what seems like really random songs. I absolutely LOVE reading books and truly enjoy having a physical book with paper pages in my hands. One of my best friends is a cinematographer so over the years I have come to not only enjoy movies but LOVE how movies are put together and presented to an audience.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is attend college abroad at 26 years old in Sydney, Australia for not just a couple of months but THREE years. To people it may have seemed like the most unstable and ridiculous thing to do but it was probably one of the best decisions that I ever made.
