About Me

PHILOSOPHY

I am a firm believer that it is impossible to be lost if you do not have a destination. So have fun just wandering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am looking to surf and meet new people. Hopefully one day when I have a place of my own I can host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of right now, but my friends have been raving about it.

Interests

I love to travel and take photographs. My favorite thing to do in a new city is to wander around. I love to play basketball and soccer and love watching futbol on tv with people in hostels and bars. I paint when I am at home and should draw more when I am traveling. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to bake and I am pretty good at it so if I stay with you I will gladly bake you something. Live music is a HUGE passion of mine, I cannot play anything, but I love to go to live shows. I volunteer at music festivals every summer and try to go to as many festivals and concerts as humanly (and monitarily) possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The great tajine search in Morocco. I found a ride with some locals from Asilah to Marrakesh (about a 12 hour drive) and at about hour 9 we decided it was time for dinner. The guy who was driving spoke Arabic, so we pulled into a service station and he asked where the best tajine in the area was. He got instructions to drive 80 kilometers to the next service station and ask there for more directions. About an hour later we got to the service station where we were assured that they knew the guy who had the tajine and we should drive to the next pay station for further instructions. When we got there we were given further instructions to follow a low stone wall and turn left at the police station the man would be at the 2nd stall on the right. After about 2 hours driving from our initial serfice station we finally found the best tajine I have ever tasted. It was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

When in doubt follow the music. It will always lead you someplace interesting.

When traveling you must be fearless, but not stupid.
