Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been recently faced with the realization of how much I have been doing for others and how little I have been doing for myself. At this point in my life, I want to find balance: helping others while also helping myself.
Looking for friends who are willing to share some of this journey with me and possibly have me stay with them for anywhere between a night to two weeks while I travel. I am more than happy to help with any cooking/cleaning around the house (ps-I love to bake) :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Three years ago, I found myself questioning my "status" in life and was also feeling quite stressed out by what my life had become. At the time, I was working full time, going to school full time and struggling to even pay my bills while juggling an emotionally and financially draining living situation. One day, I decided that I was fed up with forcing myself to cope with a situation that wasn't helping me, so I left. From there, I have continued to meet people who open up my perspective on life and help to empower me in personal and spiritual growth. Now I have decided that instead of striving to make myself financially "successful" I am redefining what it means. I have a passion for people, places and perspectives and I am on a journey of sharing art, meals and stories in hopes of realizing that the connections we make are far greater than the amount of money in our possession.
