Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people but a couple of things. (1) I don't host people who have never surfed. (2) I don't host anyone who isn't verified. Also my place is small so its really not big enough for more than 2 people max and they should be willing to sleep in the same air mattress.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't managed to stay on anyone's couch yet. But I have hosted multiple people ( on different occasions) for as short as 2 nights and as long as 4 nights. So far every experience has been great! I keep meeting des gens vraiment sympatique.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open minded so I live tons of different styles of music. Too many to list. I love Movies also especially good foreign ones. As far as books I admit I don't read as much fiction as a typical person; I usually manage about 4-5 fictional books a year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped out of an airplane at 18 in Illinois while a freshman in college.
Stayed up all night in an apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Kissed the Blarney Stone. Sailed to Catalina on a 25ft boat during a small craft warning.
Drove across the country at 19. Been the first one to snowboard down a mountain at 6:00AM after 8 inches of fresh powder.

When searching for a couch look for people who have been online in the last week or even sooner. These are the people who tend to be active in Couch surfing. Also its good to have a backup place to stay because lots of couchsurfing hosts seem to flake when it comes time to put up or shut up.
