I'm currently living in Krakow, Poland working on my M.A. in Central European Studies and teaching English.

PHILOSOPHY

I have many of these and they are constantly evolving... so I suppose my most poignant would be to never stop evolving :-)

Interests

hmm.. the obvious I suppose which is traveling as much as possible, writing, drawing on desks, staring out the window, communing with ducks in Autumn, photography, yoga to keep me sane, walking and riding my lovely pink bike, coloring, creating the occasional sock puppet, anything that distracts me from what I am suppose to be doing at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most forms of musical expression. I am currently listening to a lot of downtempo and classical as it's good to write to. However, my punk roots often shine through.
Movies: Inland Empire, Russian Ark, The Lives of Others, The Dark Crystal, Breakfast at Tiffany's never gets old. :-)
Books: Currently reading The File by Timothy Garton Ash and Ignorance by Milan Kundera

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught a 65 year old man how to read... that was pretty exciting!
