About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world and find my place in it.

ABOUT ME

I tried the corporate thing for a couple years after graduating from college. I started traveling on a whim, found it to be much more rewarding than sitting in a cubicle all day, and have been at it ever since.

I know it's a cliche on here, but seriously, I might be the most easy-going, open-minded person you'll ever meet. I have no expectations, so I'm never disappointed. And, I've never had a bad experience (since things aren't good or bad, they just are - though, don't take that as a challenge :). I'm definitely an introvert, but get me comfortable and give me time, and I'll come around.

I mostly travel for the adventure of it and to discover new things. I like to spend time with my hosts, but I'm quite capable of taking care of myself if they're busy. And, I don't mind surfing with other people - in fact, I enjoy it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you need any sort of travel advice, I'm your guy!

I'm also Couchsurfing's biggest advocate. If I meet someone that isn't already on board the CS train, they get the sermon :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've found the best way to experience a new place is with someone from there who knows all the best things about it.

Interests

I enjoy sports, reading things that make me think, playing games (board, computer, console, poker, etc.), and pretty much anything and everything else. As a rule, I'll try anything once (as long as you do it first ;).

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy it all. But, if I had to pick favorites, off the top of my head, I'd say Cake for the band and Fight Club for the movie. Why aren't video games included in their list?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned how to play Finnish Baseball in Finland and got to play in a game - and we won!
