I've just returned to Ireland after being abroad for almost 5 years. I'm very interested in meeting new people to explore with. It upsets me that I don't where to have the best coffee or beers or chats or dancing or see live music any more so if you have info or are exploring yourself - lets hangout!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people but have not couch surfed myself yet but I hope to rectify that situation soon.

I am always apprehensive about lists like this but here goes: music, politics(only if we can have a decent, calm conversation), staying up all night(everything is more exciting at 3 am), hiking, philosophy, reading, art ... generally I am interested in anything that makes me think or smile or laugh.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've visited 33 countries and am trying to see 40 before I'm 30 BUT only if those are proper explorations. I'm not making timing the boxes my goal here its just fun to count and remember past adventures.
I've never climbed Everest or gone skydiving however I have stayed up all night watching the stars, played music on a roundabout with heavy traffic revolving around me and gone camping on the great wall. The most amazing things I've done haven't necessarily been seeing one landmark or one achievement but rather things liks a singsong with a group of friends in Hungary with too many beers to count, catching fireflies with my granddad when I was a kid and a night spent swimming in bio-luminescence in Gerogia

I can teach you to play violin, viola, piano or tinwhistle... I can take you to a traditional music session. I can also sing and in general make a musical nuisance of myself however in china the only musical instrument I have with me is a violin and lets face it that's not exactly the most fun instrument to be a beginner on. I can teach you a few words of Chinese and I make pretty great desserts in my microwave.... (yes, I am a domestic goddess)
