CURRENT MISSION: To use all those LARP and RPG ideas I got while finishing up Master's Thesis.

ABOUT ME: I'm a chill gamer and sci-fi nerd, my partner's just about the same, just tries to be less annoyingly nerdy and is more into music. We collect comics and love to go outdoors. I work as a project worker, shuttling around Finland to do game education training for kindergarten teachers.

After moving to Jyväskylä I feel like I run a hotel, so many friends and acquaintances have visited this last year. It's brilliant to have people over, give tips on what to see around Jyväskylä and hear about other places people have been to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: science fiction, fantasy, historical

Movies: see above, and most others work with me too, just nothing scary or I can't sleep for a week

Music: classical, ballroom dancing music (old Finnish!), traditional Irish & Finnish music, drinking songs, jazz, any music played with classical piano, rock, punk and theatrical heavy metal ... I'm really open minded with this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone through France and stayed there for a month even though I speak no French and had a rather bad attitude about the whole language/culture/country. The best moment was soon after my arrival in Paris when I needed a taxi ride to my hostel, but the driver spoke no English and me of course no French. We wrote down words, pointed with our hands, smiled and finally I got where I needed to be and the driver had even managed to point some tourist attractions and tell about their history to me and to explain that one of the biggest roads was closed and about how difficult it made his job! It was the most amazing communication of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to introduce new people my passion for role-playing games - the original tabletop ones or LARPS. Since I've been organizing and participating in both and have contacts, we could arrange a game night! I would also love to discuss arts and creative writing, perhaps go see an exhibition or two.

I hope to learn more about all the things listed in my interests, and I hope to find new interests. Bring your hobby to me! Having masters in education, it would be interesting to hear opinions and experiences of education in other countries & cultures, or about different pedagogical approaches and special schools.
