About Me
Hello friends !
I’m currently living in France, studying French, but I grew up in Seattle. After high school, I left the US to attend university in Spain and now I’m taking a break from my studies before I move to Berlin next year. I have travelled to many countries and have had the chance to live in a few different ones as well, so I have quite a few good friends from all over the world ! I enjoy meeting new people and especially discovering new music and books. I love to dance, and I’m always interested in learning new styles and moves (right now I’m learning salsa and bachata !). I will be starting a sound engineering program when I move to Berlin, so a lot of my free time is centred around music—discovering, mixing, making, learning. Although I’m quite a social person, I also enjoy relaxing at home with a good book and a glass of red wine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through traveling, I have met the most wonderful people who have become a part of the most memorable stories I still share today. No matter where I go, it’s always the people who make the trip the best ! I'm on here to meet new people and learn some new things !
I created a couchsurfing account when I was 17, thinking that I would use it when I backpacked Asia, but I was traveling with a friend, and we ended up staying in hostels it was easier as we were two. However, I have met a few people through just meet-ups on here, and I really enjoyed it ! Now, I would like to try staying/hosting as I’m older and feel more safe/comfortable. I would love to get to know what kind of music you enjoy and your favorite authors or artists—or just your stories/experiences in general !

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of all types of music. Right now, I've been listening to a lot of Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, L'impératrice, Daft Punk, I Hate Models, etc—so lots of rock, electronic, and techno, but sometimes I'm also listening to jazz and classical quite often.
Some of my favorite books are: Les Carnets de Camus, Mother Night (Vonnegut), The Picture of Dorian Gray (Wilde), Kafka on the Shore (Murakami), Confessions of an English Opium-Eater (De Quincey), and Crime and Punishment (Dostoyevsky) just to name a few !
As for movies: Before Sunrise (just so sweet and tender), Primal Fear (this movie is just incredible, and Edward Norton is amazing in it), Au revoir les enfants (really touching), Princess Mononoke (just beautiful, all of Miyazaki's films), City of God (really human and depicts life in the favelas of Rio).
