Overview
About Me
Hi!
I would describe myself as a curious and calm person passionate about learning.
I started studying Mandarin when I was 12. This taught me about the importance of travel and language learning for broadening one's perspective. I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel, and hope to continue to do so as much as possible throughout my life to enable me to become the best and most openminded version of myself :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing to make friends and to learn more about the local life and culture of a country I am visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS
I've always been interested in geopolitics and many of the books I read relate to Chinese politics. Lately I've been interested in learning more about Middle Eastern history/politics. I track my reads through goodreads, here is my profile: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/171421776
MUSIC
I’m into many different genres of music. Some of my all time favourite artists would be Nujabes, MF Doom, A Tribe Called Quest, u-Ziq, The Cranberries, Van Morrison, Fontaines DC and Cocteau Twins.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participated in an international Chinese language competition!
