ABOUT ME

I'm a university student in Oldenburg who enjoys getting together with people from all over the world. My first big experience in getting to know (and not only see) another country was an exchange year during school in Finland.
Since then I recognized, traveling is not only about the places you visit, but especially about the people you get to know.
I continued working voluntarily for the Youth Exchange Oranization called YFU, that organized my exchange year, because spending a school year abroad is a great opportunity for young students, and I want to support that.
I am quite enthusiastic about cycling, which is also a nice method of traveling. If not staying with hosts (no matter whether CS, Warm showers (couch surfing for cyclists), friends, persons that know someone who knows a friend of you.... ), I enjoy placing a tent in the woods (OK, I sad travelling is about the people, but nature is nice, too).
