ABOUT ME

Consistently torn between the gypsy life and a settled life. While part of me loves nothing more than to make a home and collect weird trinkets and future pieces of collages, it doesn't take long before I want to abandon all the stuff and live with a backpack. I like short glimpses of places but really enjoy spending at least a few months getting to know a place. Especially enjoy places with mountains and oceans and good people.

Interests

Walking barefoot in rivers, swimming in oceans, making herbal medicine, making art... making things in general, experimenting with cooking, climbing mountains, hanging out with friends, hanging out with strangers, good hugs, blown glass (and deperately wishing I knew how to blow glass), dogs (and desperately wishing I could sit still long enough to have one)...

Music, Movies, and Books

movies... cool pretentious foreign films, especially wild strawberries and 8.5, pulp fiction, cohen brothers films, and I think the shrek trilogy makes me laugh more than most movies (sense of humor of a seven year old...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled southern, and eastern africa by bus, by boat, by hitchiking. An experience that cannot quite be put into words.
