ABOUT ME

I'm a fairly down to earth and relaxed Londoner working for a magazine about China. I grew up in a very mixed and vibrant area in London and have a mixed background, most notably my Danish father. Don't make the mistake of thinking I speak Danish. I can swear and talk about food and showering. That's it.

This isn't the first time I've lived in Beijing - I studied here in 2007/2008 and got lured back last year by my current job. I'm pretty happy exploring the city and making a life for myself for the next couple of years, and would love to meet travellers and share my discoveries with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As yet, my only couch surfing experience is taking a surfer out to Nanluoguxiang (which he seemed to enjoy and so did I!) for a friend who was hosting him but who had fallen ill.

Interests

The world in general, hiking, rock climbing, playing music, live music, reading.

I recently started learning guitar, though the Beijing is full of a million and one distractions so it sometimes gets neglected. Thus, anyone who needs to exercise their fingers on my bottom-of-the-market guitar is welcome!
