About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet as many people as possible for lerning from them. I want to be an ambessador of my culture and a multiplier of other cultures in my country.

ABOUT ME

I'm open-minded and interested in meeting new people from other areas of the world.
And i love music. Therefore i try to collect some new stuff whereever i go to and if you visit me onetime and you have new music for me, that would be great. (and you will get some from me of course) ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Giving and taking a couch is how i want to take part in the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My girlfriend and i stood in Bilbao. There we had a couch in a flat of a student and his parents. And even they had to work very long everyday, they cordially received us.
And in the Yosemite Natinal Park we stood in a house of firefighters. That was really interessting to talk with them and to learn something about their work.

Interests

There are so many things i'm interested in. Music i mentioned above.
Then i like to hike. I try to hike as much as possible. Not only in high montains like the Alpes even in smaller ones. Therefore i can recommend the Elbsandsteingebirge in Saxony. It's a small one but it has some cracy geological formations.
And fotography is an other hobby of me. I learned to recognize small details when i look through my camera. And it don't need much or expensive things to enjoy me.

And to keep fit and healthy i love running.

Music, Movies, and Books

The most impressive book I ever read is "Ich war Staatsfeind Nummer 1" (I was the state's enemy No. 1). It is a memorandum of a man tried to flee from the dictatorhip of the former GDR in the early 60's. He was catched, treated and mistotured by the agents of the ministry for state security. And when he was bought free by the FRG he stated to help people fleeing from the GDR. A really exiting book I read in two days.

There is no special kind of music I like because there are always great songs in every one. But I really like Seeed. It's a Reggae and Dancehall band with 11 musicians. And you can not stand still when you hear them.

In films I like Quentin Terrintino. (Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds and Four Rooms)
I'm also a fan of scandinavian films (Elling, Flickering Lights, 101 Rejkjavik, In China they eat dogs and so on). These films got a bizzare humor and that's great. ;-)
