I'm an actor, teacher, coach, VO artist, videographer and humanist. Raging Liberal, Father of 2 grown daughters. Divorced 8 years. I live and work in LA: Film, TV, Theatre. I also narrate a lot of corporate video, audio books, and other voice-over work. I am in excellent health. I eat right, hike and backpack whenever possible. I take no medications, and take personal responsibility for my heath. I love meeting people. I'm low maintenance, and like people who are similar. I avoid processed foods. I carry my own weight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Still a fan of Pink Floyd and David Gilmore. I love so many movies and books that its' hard to pick just a few. I'm open to all paths of learning and philosophical thought. Album rock still works, but I do love newer music forms. I have no restrictions on music forms from Classical to pop, even country and blues and Jazz.
I love science fiction. Always have.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(Aside from Quitting smoking 23 years ago -) I learned and have performed a 57 minute 37 page solo show written by an award winning writer and producer - and have performed it for packed houses and standing ovations.; its one of the greatest accomplishments of my life, so far.

Oh, and ask me about the time I watched Halley's Comet with Johnny Cash.

Acting. Voice work. Macintosh Computer expert. (I take 'em apart and put 'em back together.) I know where some of the best hiking trails are in the LA Area. Just ask. Beginner to difficult. Arrgh! Let's go backpacking!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I got skills: Conversation. Creative thought. Philosophical eclectic discussion. I teach. Coach, and direct. But I'm not pushy. I'm open to new experiences and ideas. I cook and clean up after myself. I require little assistance other than directions... I'm a fun guy to be with... I appreciate wine and beer. I can hold my own in most conversations except for sports. Sorry: I know nothing about Hockey.
