I grew up in the London suburbs, but a travelling curiosity was planted in me from a young age! My Mum's Brisbane-based family gave us a great reason to experience the sunshine state during UK summers. I've been living in the East London bustle over the past two years, but a 2-week solo trip to Albania in the middle of this confirmed my suspicions that exploring and meeting new folks is enlivening. Loved watching the landscape change hitch-hiking across Canada last year, and have returned for more this April/May. Hope to meet you out on the road !

Always love connecting with others through sport, thinking activities (e.g board games) or something outdoors. Adventures and surprises are what I live for :) some of my favourites have been: hitch-hiking from Bristol, UK to Germany dressed as a 🦞in 36 hours, searching for a woodcutter's hut in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan with nothing more than the memory of where my host pointed to on a map the night before 🏔️, watching a hilariously bad Albanian football match with a bunch of Danish students found at the airport alongside the team's ultrafans, who spent the entire match facing away from the game and dancing 🪩⚽

Languages are such an awesome way of connecting with folks from different cultures. I would love to take the time to learn some more as I get older.

I keep a list of esoteric words on my phone which it's fun to share with others (esoteric is one of the words).
