I'm a UX designer in London, living in Peckham. I have a lovely cat named Juniper (though I'm technically a dog person), and I love making, doing, exploring, and being active.

This year I'm doing only solo vacation trips - for a week over the summer I spent 2 days in SF, 2 days roadtripping to Portland, and 2 days in Portland, all only with other Couchsurfers! It was super fun having no plans or expectations and I'm trying it again while visiting London and Santorini.

I haven't yet couchsurfed so I have no real references so far but if I'm requesting from you, I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have! Otherwise would love to just hang out or attend different CS events in the city.

That said, I'm verified through CS with a government ID, have passed 4 background checks in the last year 1/2 for two jobs and two apartments, can provide profile links to my Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and personal website, can provide previous and current roommate references, and have lived with 28 different roommates (sharing a room or apartment for durations of 3 months - 3 years). I also have a cat who would be happy to give her input if she could 🙂

I like the idea of finding free housing in places I'm visiting with the potential to meet new people and make new friends! I think it has the potential to make a traveling experience unforgettable. I've always enjoyed hosting friends for dinner, parties, or whatever, and so this just seemed like a cool way help people out.
I'm currently saddled with student loans but have a couple solo trips planned this year, so couchsurfing seems like an amazing way to both save money, meet new people, and make new friends and memories!

Have read all the GoT books, except the last - not sure if that's out yet, and have seen all but the last season of the show. Westworld is definitely my favorite show by far, however.

I spent two months in China during summer 2017 for a User Experience Design internship at a a company called NetDragon. The office building is literally a life-size Starship Enterprise and is a 5 minute walk from the ocean.
