My name is Tim and I am currently doing a year abroad in the Netherlands as an exchange student. I am trying to learn dutch but ik ben er nog niet zo goed in. I'd like to use the time here in the Netherlands to get to know a lot of different cities and integrate into the culture. Furthermore, I dance in Rotterdam and Arnhem and always try to improve and make connections in the dance community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I travel a lot in the Netherlands and try to meet new people everywhere I go, Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity for me to have longer stays at some cities. Most cities you cannot tick off in one day so that's why I am here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Frankfurt to Berlin along with a friend which was one of my best traveling experiences. Surprisingly, it worked very well and we made it to Berlin after waiting for about 3 hours at a gas station. The way back also worked out really well as someone took us the whole way back.
