I'm a PhD student (Computer Science), currently with some time to travel.
I like to go biking, hiking and most other kinds of sports.
An important hobby of mine is photography - one of the reasons why I like to travel. Gets you lots of motives ;).

I'm interested in getting to know countries and the people living there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined couchsurfing about three years ago and tried it on one trip within Germany.
Got a guided tour from a local which was great.

Unfortunately I had to work a lot afterwards, so I didn't habe time for anything.
Since a friend of mine (Dominik) told me about lots of great experiences and I'm going to have 5 weeks of holiday, I'm reactivating my account :).

A mystical red sunset over a lake somewhere in Sweden. It was sheer luck we got there at that moment, because it lasted less than half an hour.
