Overview
About Me
I am 70 years old. I was married for 44 years, but now live on my own in a big house. Teaching mathematics has been my life having taught at middle school, high school, college (math and preservice teacher ed), and graduate school levels (preservice teacher ed). in retirement, I usher at a few area theaters, work with a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and substitute teach mathematics classes at our local high school. I love to talk with new people to learn about their lives and homes, and things that they know (that I don't).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on my own now after 44 years of marriage and trying to open myself to new adventures, meeting new people, possibly making new friends. We have hosted exchange students from Italy, Germany, Russia, and Japan, and have loved it. I enjoy being with people, sharing in their lives, learning from them, and helping when I can. I am opening my home to others since I live alone in a big house that beckons new visitors.
