ABOUT ME

We are a couple living in Heidelberg, Germany, 28 (Tim) and 33 (Christina) years old. We love to travel, explore new places cultures, new surf spots and enjoy to hang around with locals or other travelers.

When we are not working, we try to see new places around in Asia or South America. On our list short-term: Seychelles, Cambodia, Japan, Philippines, Brazil Mexico and Colombia,... and long-term: Brazil surf and jungle trip, South-America road trip, motorbike tour through Vietnam

On the weekend we like to go out enjoy some good music, bars and like good parties and dancing a lot. During the day, visit some colorful markets, or temples we haven't seen yet. Or just do some sports. We love hiking, diving, surfing or just having a good conversation with new friends we make while traveling.

If we need to relax, we enjoy just hanging out at a beach or our local cafe enjoying the view, the sunshine with some drinks and good talks and our friends.

I have learned so much from my mistakes ... I am thinking of making a few more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We enjoy it much more to stay with locals, other travelers and in hostels than in hotels because the people are more interesting, more fun and often like-minded. We still have a lot of contact with the people we met and visit each other when we are around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the last three years we mostly traveled to Indonesia, Morocco, California, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand & Southeast Asia... hunting for waves and therefore stayed in private beach bungalows where no couch surfing was available

In 2013 we couch surfed the first time in Hong Kong, which was an amazing experience. CS is probably the best way to get to know a place its people, from a personal perspective.

So far we hosted couch surfers and many friends in our previous apartment in Bangkok and made good experience with that too.
