See and Do and Dig it all
I'm a graduate student at UNBC and work in conservation in BC's beautiful Peace River Valley.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Stayed with some damn good guys in Glasgow and an amazing family in Inverness, and later their son in Edinburgh. Was brought to a wicked underground party in London and drank some damn good beer in Belgium, then a picnic behind Notre Dame in Paris. Wow. I am really enthralled by the generosity of the people in this community.
travel, music, art, history, literature and sport. I love sailing, skiing, ice hockey, rugby, football, windsurfing.
Music, Movies, and Books
I dig jazz, classic rock, hiphop, indie and triphop. Pearl Jam, Radiohead, The Tragically Hip, The Decemberists, Sam Roberts, Miles Davis, Broken Social Scene Atmosphere, Massive Attack, Fleetwood Mac. The list goes on... Read Kerouac, Tolkien, Buchan, Salinger, Yeats, Dylan Thomas, and many more. Current favorites: The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins, A Fine Balance by Rohintin Mistry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tending sheep in the Outer Hebrides, the velvet night sky in the Sahara, learning lost tales from a Druid in Welsh forests, Midnight Yell at Texas A&M, all the amazing people I've met along the road.
